(WKYT) – An inmate at the Marshall County Detention Center is back behind bars after a brief escape Wednesday.
Jonathon Madole walked away from work details at the county animal shelter during the morning. He was picked up by a 17-year-old girl.
Troopers located Madole and the girl in Murray early in the afternoon.
Madole was charged with second-degree escape and second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and returned to the detention center.
The girl was cited for second-degree complicity to escape and released.
