(WKYT) – The 6-1 Kentucky Wildcats take on the Vanderbilt Commodores Saturday at a sold-out Kroger Field, but fans still looking for tickets need to be aware of potential scams.
More importantly, they need to check out sellers before spending money on tickets.
The Better Business Bureau recommends starting with the venue’s official ticket site, including any resale options that are offered.
After that, check a seller’s reputation and know the resale site’s refund policy. Make sure the listing identifies your seats and explains how you will receive your tickets. Pay with a credit card so you have a way to dispute the charge if the tickets aren’t as promised.
Be careful with ads offering unusually cheap seats and links that look like a familiar ticketing website. Once you have your mobile tickets, download them to your digital wallet before heading to the stadium. That can help you avoid trouble pulling them up if cell service is spotty.
