During its regular monthly meeting last night, the Monticello City Council heard routine department reports that included;
Alcohol Beverage Control: In August, combined drink and bottle sales reached over $413,000, and yielded just over $20,000 in local regulatory fee collections for the municipality.
Tourism Department: August revenue from the local restaurant tax totaled $66,700.
Halloween Schedule: City leaders designated Saturday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as the official trick-or-treating hours for Monticello.
