(FOX 56) — A former Somerset teacher and coach was indicted Tuesday on charges of grooming a minor and tampering with physical evidence.
The Somerset Police Department said it was notified Aug. 8 of criminal allegations involving 31-year-old Trevor Shearer of Monticello.
Officials told FOX 56 that Shearer was a Meece Middle School teacher and a track and cross-country coach with the Somerset Independent School System.
Remember indictments don’t imply guilt or innocence on that enough evidence was presented to hold the case for trial.
