(WKYT) – A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up to help support the family of two young sisters who are recovering after a deadly ATV crash.
Deloris Kay Huff, 70, was riding an ATV with her three grandchildren on Tuesday, Sept. 8, when the ATV left the roadway and overturned in a ditch.
Huff died, and the GoFundMe says the oldest child is in the ICU with skull fractures and brain bleeds. One child suffered a broken elbow, and one is “okay overall,” with bruises and scrapes, according to the fundraiser.
The GoFundMe page, set up by the mother of two of the children, is raising money for travel to and from the hospital, food expenses, upcoming bills and other day-today expenses. She said she is currently off of work to be with her daughter in the hospital.
“Your support will help take some of the pressure off while I focus on my girls and getting through these days one step at a time,” the fundraiser reads.
