(WKYT) – A man was arrested Sept. 2 for allegedly sexually abusing a child, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies say they responded to a home after reports of sexual assault of a minor.
After taking a report from the victim’s mother, deputies say they went to the suspect’s residence. Officials arrested 81-year-old Ronald Abney after he admitted he was guilty of sexually abusing the minor around 15-20 times in the time he knew her.
Abney is facing 15 counts of first degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12-years-old and 3 counts of using a minor in a sexual performance.
