Authorities say a Russell Springs man is facing charges after allegedly trying to solicit two underage girls from Whitley County. Investigators report that Baseler Lafrance used a dating app with someone else’s photos to contact the teens, later driving to Corbin to pick them up and offering them money for sexual acts. According to officials, the girls contacted law enforcement after Lafrance dropped them off at a Walmart, and he is now in custody on charges including prostitution and unlawful transaction with a minor.
