Fiscal Court to Meet Thursday

The Wayne County Fiscal Court will meet Thursday, August 13th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the courthouse. According to the agenda magistrates will review the Health Department’s yearly tax rates. The 2nd reading of a budget amendment, two opioid‑related funding requests will be heard.  There’ll be departmental reports, road work review and more on the agenda.
