(WKYT) – The man charged in an April Berea bank shooting that left two people dead had a hearing in federal court on Wednesday.
According to court documents, counsel from both sides gave an update on the status and progress of the case of 19-year-old Brailen Weaver during a status conference.
Another conference will take place in three months, but no date has been set.
Weaver is accused of walking into the U.S. Bank in Berea and killing 35-year-old Breanna Edwards and 42-year-old Brian Switzer.

He was indicted in May on federal charges on one count of attempted armed bank robbery and two counts of causing death with a firearm in the course of a crime of violence.
Weaver was also indicted on state charges in July: two counts of murder and one count of fleeing and evading. He will be arraigned on those charges in Madison County on August 20.
