(WKYT) – Kentucky State Police say they are investigating after over 200 animals were rescued at a property in Metcalfe County near the Adair County line.

As part of the investigation, KSP says a trooper is working with the county attorney on potential charges for the people involved.
Rescue efforts for remaining animals are ongoing, according to rescue groups and nonprofits. They are still asking for community help and donations.
