(WKYT) – A woman died after being hit by a train in Whitley County on Monday, July 27.
41-year-old Loretta West died after being hit near U.S. Highway 25W in the Emlyn community just south of Williamsburg, according to the Whitley County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner’s office said West was a pedestrian and that the incident is still under investigation.
