NWS survey finds no evidence of tornado touchdown in Bourbon, Clark and Montgomery counties

(WKYT) – The National Weather Service survey team out of Jackson found no traces of a tornado touchdown in Bourbon, Clark and Montgomery counties on Wednesday.

The NWS noted that photos and videos of the Tuesday storm showed rotation, including a double funnel cloud in Montgomery County.

However, no video or photographic evidence of a tornado touchdown has surfaced.

During the survey at the funnel locations, the NWS noted that the only debris that could have been lofted in the air was leaves and smaller tree limbs.

Three downed trees on Gay Road in Bourbon County did not show any indication of a tornadic signature, nor were any nearby trees affected.
