Weekly Arrest Report
July 15, 2026 – Julie Barnes was arrested and charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (Shoplifting) by Officer Thomas, who was assisted on scene by Major Smith.
July 15, 2026 – Eddie Burton was arrested and charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (Shoplifting). Burton was also served with a McCreary County District Court Warrant for Failure to Pay and a Rockcastle County District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear by Officer Thomas, who was assisted on scene by Major Smith.
July 16, 2026 – James Kendrick was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication by Officer Thompson, who was assisted on scene by Officer Thomas.
July 17, 2026 – TJ Gregory was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication by Officer Thompson.
July 18, 2026 – James Kendrick (yes, the same one as listed above) was arrested again and charged with Alcohol Intoxication by Officer Neal, who was assisted on scene by Major Smith. (Apparently, the Wayne County Detention Center made quite the impression… but we still don’t recommend earning a return visit.)
July 18, 2026 – Tyquon Roberts was arrested and served with a Wayne County District Court Criminal Complaint Warrant for the charges of Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree and Menacing by Officer Smedley, who was assisted on scene by Officer Neal and Officer Thompson.
July 20, 2026 – Deana Bell was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, Menacing, and Resisting Arrest by Officer Thompson, who was assisted on scene by Officer Smedley and Officer Guffey
