(WKYT) – Kentucky State Police say a man who broke into a local landscaping business early Tuesday morning inadvertently revealed his face on a Ring camera, helping troopers identify him as a suspect.
Police say 51-year-old Jonathan Moore broke into the business on July 14.
In Ring camera video obtained by WKYT, a man wearing a face covering — revealing only his eyes — can be seen approaching the front door of Gasser Landscaping.
As he nears the door, he is holding a lit cigarette. He then moves it to his other hand and pulls down his face covering, revealing his entire face, before placing the cigarette in his mouth and pulling out a flashlight as he continues toward the door.

Troopers say that action allowed them to positively identify Moore.
Moore is accused of stealing $500 in cash from the register.
KSP say a similar burglary happened overnight July 12 and Moore has been identified as the suspect in that investigation as well.
He is facing charges for third degree burglary and first degree criminal mischief.
The owners of Gasser Landscaping said the past few days have been a roller coaster.

Gasser also thanked law enforcement for their work and said the family is proud to call Harrison County home.
