(WKYT) – A Kentucky Powerball winner was indicted on charges relating to a 2025 crash.
James Farthing was indicted by a Fayette County grand jury for leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance and wanton endangerment.
According to the indictment, the charge is in relation to a crash that occurred Nov. 23, 2025. Court documents allege that Farthing failed to stop and ascertain the extent of injury or damage.
The indictment also claims Farthing wantonly engaged in conduct that created substantial danger of death or serious injury.
Farthing is set to be arraigned in Fayette Circuit Court on August 7.
