(WKYT) – One man has been arrested in relation to the July 12 stabbing.

Deputies arrested 19-year-old Joseph Middleton July 13. Middleton is facing charges for first degree burglary and first degree assault. He is lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
The stabbing left one person with serious wounds at a motel in southern Laurel County, according to the sheriff’s office.
