(WKYT) – UPDATE 7/9/26: Lamborghini Financial Services, Inc. has dismissed it’s civil lawsuit against London Mayor Randall Weddle.
In a notice, Lamborghini Financial Services, Inc. said they were dismissing the lawsuit without prejudice.
ORIGINAL 7/7/26: Lamborghini Financial Services, Inc. has filed a civil lawsuit against London Mayor Randall Weddle, alleging he has not made payments on a vehicle since February 2026.
The lawsuit alleges Weddle owes more than $60,000 on a vehicle loan for a 2019 Lamborghini Urus, and the company is asking the court for a writ of possession to take the vehicle back.
The vehicle has a Black Book value of more than $160,000, according to court documents.
According to a motion and affidavit filed on behalf of Lamborghini Financial Services, Inc., demands for payment and possession of the vehicle have been unsuccessful. The court filing says the vehicle is wrongfully detained by Weddle “by virtue of default in payment.”
The lawsuit also asks the court to enter judgment against Weddle for the outstanding balance and award attorney’s fees and court costs.
Weddle has 20 days to file a written response after he is served, according to a civil summons, or a judgment by default may be taken against him for the relief Lamborghini Financial Services, Inc. demanded.
