Science Hill Man Arrested Following Investigation into Alleged Sexual Abuse of Child

Sheriff Bobby Jones announces the arrest of a Pulaski man following an investigation into the alleged sexual abuse of children.
Jeffrey Bryant, 69, of Science Hill, was arrested on June 23 at his residence after a warrant was obtained for him for the offenses of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Indecent Exposure in the First Degree.
The investigation began after Deputy Grant Bryant received a complaint of sexual abuse against Jeffrey Bryant. Following Dep. Bryant’s initial investigation, the Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Division was assigned the case.
After further investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division, the arrest warrant was secured for Jeffrey Bryant.
Following his arrest, Jeffrey Bryant was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he is still currently held on a $20,000 bond.
Detective Lieutenant Matt Bryant is continuing the investigation.
In addition to Dep. Bryant, Lt. Bryant was assisted in the investigation by Detective Ryan Jones, Detective Jay Picard, Deputy Marcus Harrison, and Deputy Matt Parks.
