Mrs. Marilyn Etta (Beaty) Druin of Albany, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Clinton County Care &
Rehabilitation Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 9 days. She was born on February 12, 1946, the daughter of Hester (Neal) Beaty. She was of the Christian faith, attended the First Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, reading, working outdoors, and was known for her strong work ethic, having carried water and washed clothes by hand for many years. She especially loved her husband and treasured time spent with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Druin, whom she wed on September 1, 1965, brother, Tyler Beaty, sister-in-law, Betty Beaty, and great-granddaughter, Kylee Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Hester Burns of Albany, Kentucky; granddaughter, Lorraine Barnett; one great-granddaughter; one great-great-granddaughter; one niece; two nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in The Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, after 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Beaty Creek Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
