Police Officer Recently Completed ARIDE Training

Major Smith and K-9 Officer Bertram recently completed ARIDE (Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement) training.
One of the key components of ARIDE is the review and demonstration of proficiency in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, ensuring officers are equipped with the skills necessary to accurately detect and investigate impaired drivers.
ARIDE provides law enforcement officers with advanced training to observe, identify, and articulate the signs and symptoms of impairment caused by alcohol, drugs, or a combination of both.
The Monticello Police Department remains committed to keeping our community safe by proactively addressing impaired driving and reducing alcohol and drug-related traffic collisions.
