Sheriff Bobby Jones and the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office proudly welcome Deputy Bradley Bunch following his successful graduation from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) Basic Training Academy, Class 569, held in Richmond, Kentucky.
The Department of Criminal Justice Training hosted the graduation ceremony at First Baptist Church in Richmond, where Deputy Bunch received his diploma and officially became a certified law enforcement officer with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
“Today’s graduation is more than the end of basic training—it marks the beginning of a lifelong commitment to service, integrity, and protecting our communities.
Basic Training for Class 569 consisted of more than 800 hours of instruction. The curriculum included patrol procedures, criminal law, traffic and DUI enforcement, physical training, emergency vehicle operations, firearms, criminal investigations, defensive tactics, tactical response to crisis situations, cultural awareness, and bias-related crimes.
Sheriff Bobby Jones officially swore him in during a private ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office in the presence of his family, friends, and Sheriff’s Office staff.
Deputy Bunch is now assigned to the agency’s Field Training Program, where he will patrol alongside a veteran Field Training Officer. During this phase, he will receive extensive on-the-job training while responding to calls for service, conducting criminal investigations, and completing reports under the guidance and supervision of an experienced deputy.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Deputy Bunch on this important achievement and wishes him a safe and successful career serving the citizens of Pulaski County.
