(WYMT) – A Floyd County woman has been reported missing after her family said she had not been seen in more than a month.
Brandi Moore’s family came into the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on June 6 and reported she had not been seen for 32 days. The sheriff’s office entered her into a nationwide database to begin the search.
Moore is 41 years old and from the McDowell community. She is described as approximately 5 foot 8 and 165 pounds, with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.
“If somebody sees her, she’s ok to approach to see if she needs help. And let’s see where she’s located, so her family knows that she’s safe, wherever she is,” said Sgt. Kevin Thacker.
The family noted that it was not uncommon for Moore to be gone for days at a time, but it reached a point of concern.
Police are urging people to not be shy if they have a lead on Moore’s whereabouts. The sheriff’s office said it is following up on every lead and locations where she may be. Deputies have talked to people in the McDowell community trying to see if anyone had any leads on where she went or where she may be.
Any information regarding Moore’s whereabouts can be reported by calling 911 or the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office directly at 606-886-6711.
