(WKYT) – Governor Andy Beshear announced on social media Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and President Donald Trump approved public assistance.
This will go to counties that are recovering following the January 2026 winter storm.
Beshear said the full list of approved counties includes: Allen, Barren, Clay, Clinton, Cumberland, Jackson, Laurel, Lee, McCreary, Menifee, Metcalfe, Monroe, Owsley, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne and Whitley.
“This is critical support that will help Kentuckians recover and rebuild,” Beshear said.
