Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron and his staff would like to acknowledge and congratulate all of the DARE Essay Winners at the Monticello Elementary School as well as all the other participants in this year’s program. This great program is taught by Wayne County Sheriff Office Deputy Tommy Spencer in our school system who has done an exceptional job.
The Sheriff Office certainly appreciates Wayne County School Administration, teachers and staff for allowing the DARE program into the school’s curriculum. This program was made possible by Wayne County Judge Executive Scott Gehring and members of the Fiscal Court for apply for and receiving a grant to initiate this program back into the school system.
