Secretary of State signs House Bill 1

 (WKYT) – Secretary of State Michael Adams is signing House Bill 1 today.

House Bill 1 gives Kentucky the ability to opt into a federal program that allows dollar-for-dollar tac credits for donations funding scholarships.

The bill has been controversial, with supporters believing the bill gives freedom of choice for more educational opportunities, and opponents worrying about potential harm to public schools.
