Deputies then ended up deploying a K-9 to search the vehicle before discovering narcotics in it.
During the search, detectives reportedly found suspected meth with a total weight of about a half-pound.
Goff, 45, of Somerset, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, first Offense (methamphetamine, 2 grams or more).
Latham, 50, of Burnside, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree, second or greater offense (methamphetamine, 2 grams or more) and excessive windshield/window tinting.
