(WKYT) – A London woman has been arrested for a murder stemming from a fatal drug overdose.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office reported that 37-year-old Courtney K. Boone was arrested Monday morning for allegedly selling fentanyl in 2025 to an unnamed 26-year-old who later died after consuming it through a meth pipe.
According to court records, Boone was indicted in January.
Boone is being held at the Laurel County Correctional Center on a $100,000 cash bond. As of Thursday afternoon, she is not scheduled to be in court.
The sheriff’s office was assisted in the investigation by the U.S. Marshall Service-Central Kentucky Fugitive Task Force.
