(WAVE/WKYT) – The Kentucky Derby has announced that Fulleffort (20-1) is a scratch.
It’s the second scratch in Kentucky Derby 152. Ocelli (50-1) is now in the lineup.
According to Fulleffort’s trainer, Brad Cox, the horse was off left-hind and had pressure in his ankle. After x-rays, it was revealed there was a chip in his bone. Cox has two other horses in the race, Commandment and Further Ado.
Yesterday, Silent Tactic scratched with a foot injury. Great White was moved into the field.
