(WKYT) – Four University of Kentucky players have been drafted in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Jalen Farmer was drafted in the 4th round by the Indianapolis Colts. Jager Burton was drafted in the 5th round by the Green Bay Packers. Kendrick Law was drafted in the 5th round by the Detroit Lions. Seth McGowan was drafted in the 7th round by the Indianapolis Colts.
UK offensive lineman Jalen Farmer was drafted in Round 4, Pick 113 to the Indianapolis Colts.
Farmer transferred to UK in 2024 and started in 24 games for the Kentucky Wildcats.
UK offensive lineman Jager Burton was drafted in Round 5, Pick 153.
Burton started his college career at UK and started in 47 consecutive times during his time as a Wildcat.
Kentucky wide receiver Kendrick Law was drafted in the 5th round with the 168th pick by the Detroit Lions.
Law led the Wildcats with 540 yards receiving and added three touchdowns in 2025.
UK running back Seth McGowan was drafted in the 7th round with the 237th pick by the Indianapolis Colts. McGowan spent one season at Kentucky but made an impact.
McGowan carried 165 times for 725 yards, a 4.4-yard average, with 12 touchdowns, leading the Wildcats in rushing yards and TDs. He finished the regular season fourth in the Southeastern Conference in rushing TDs and among the top 10 in rushing yardage.
Kentucky has had at least four players selected in five of the last eight drafts, also 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2024.
