(WKYT) – Law enforcement found no explosive devices following a threat at a Kentucky school district Thursday.
At 2:51 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Adair County Schools posted on social media that due to a bomb threat all of its schools were on lockdown while local law enforcement and emergency agencies cleared the scene.
Twenty-three minutes later the district announced that no threat had been found though emergency personnel would remain on campuses for the rest of the school day for safety reasons.
