According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron his office has received numerous calls about receiving a text messages showing a final notice in reference to a traffic violation including tolls or parking violations. The message shows the official emblem of the State of Kentucky at the top. When reading the message it goes on to state it is from St. Louis County of Missouri.This is a SCAM!! If you have received one of these text messages, delete it immediately and do not respond.
In recent days several people has also received a different type of a notice from other states for a toll violation by either a text message or by mail. If you have not been in one of those states it could be a mistake from that state by the way they conducted license plate injuries.
