On March 28, 2026, one individual was arrested by the McCreary County Sheriff’s Department for drug trafficking, in northern McCreary County near the Greenwood community. Deputy Patrick unit 7403, was patrolling Charlie Huges Road where he encountered Johnny Decker, 49, along the railroad tracks on an ATV 4 wheeler.
Decker was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and cash believed to be connected to illegal drug trafficking. A database inquiry on Deckers name also showed he had an active parole warrant linked to his original underlying charges of Burglary, Theft and Drug possession.
Decker was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree-Methamphetamine over 2 grams (2nd offense) and served with an arrest warrant for violating the terms of his parole release.
