(WKYT) – State leaders from agriculture, business, aviation, and the Kentucky General Assembly are holding a press conference they say will highlight the economic opportunity alternative aviation fuel presents for Kentucky’s farmers, communities, and workforce.
According to a press release, the event will highlight House Bill 545, legislation designed to encourage aviation fuel production and strengthen markets for Kentucky-grown feedstocks.
Speakers will discuss how Kentucky’s strong agricultural base, manufacturing sector, and logistics infrastructure position the Commonwealth to compete for investment in the growing alternative aviation fuel industry.
