Pertussis (Whooping Cough) is beginning to pop up once again in our district. Pertussis can cause uncontrollable, violent coughing that makes it hard to breathe, eat, or drink. Pertussis is a highly contagious disease that poses a serious health risk, especially to infants and young children. Call your local health department to schedule an appointment for the Tdap vaccination.
