Fire Department Reports four Calls for Service Wednesday

Monticello Fire Department responded to 4 calls for service Wednesday.

#1 At 5:51 AM the fire department was dispatched to Stokes Court for a structure fire on arrival units found a cook stove that was overheating. The incident was controlled before any further damage was caused.

#2 At 7:36 PM firefighters responded to an ATV accident on Highway 167. Wayne County EMS transported the operator and fire personnel assisted.

#3 At 8:05 PM MFD responded to Ramsey’s Point Road for a single vehicle collision.

#4 At 9:21 PM firefighters responded to the report of a possible structure fire on East Highway 90. The fire turned out to be a controlled burn adjacent to a structure.
