Today marks the first day of classes at the Wayne County School District for the new year.
Classes will be in session from 8:15 to 3:15 each day.
State highway crews will begin activating traffic warning flashers at schools across KYTC District 8 counties as students and teachers return to classrooms.
That also means school buses will be sharing the road with work-day commuters each morning and afternoon. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reminds all drivers to:
