MPD RECENT ARRESTS
Kelvin Burris, 20, was arrested Sunday (Feb 23) at 6:00 p.m. on North Main Street by Officer Casey Lang. Burris was charged locally with No Operators License and Possession of Marijuana. He was also served with a Jefferson County warrant for Fleeing or Evading Police, Receiving Stolen Property, Wanton Endangerment, No Operators License and Giving Police Officer a False Name or Information.
Charles Young, 26, was arrested Monday (Feb 24) at 12:30 p.m. on West Columbia Avenue by Major Josh Asberry. Young was taken into custody on a Parole Violation warrant.
Lawrence Hicks, 28, was arrested Monday (Feb 24) at 6:20 p.m. on West Columbia Avenue by Officer Casey Lang. Hicks was served with two warrants for failure to appear in Wayne District Court.
Brett Murphy, 43, was arrested Tuesday (Feb 25) at 9:25 p.m. in the WCHS gymnasium by Officer Casey Lang for Assault 4th Degree.
Burris, Young, Hicks and Murphy were processed and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
