Big Blue Slam Blood Drive is today in Monticello

Big Blue Slam, the annual blood battle between Kentucky fans and Florida fans to boost the winter blood supply, is coming to your area. Kentucky Blood Center will host an upcoming blood drive in your community for the yearly event.

Big Blue Slam encourages blood donations in the winter months when weather and illness can hinder collections. KBC donors and LifeSouth Community Blood Center (Gainesville, Florida) donors will compete Jan. 27–31 to collect the most blood.

As a thank you for saving local lives and one-upping rival Florida, all donors will receive a special-edition Big Blue Slam T-shirt. KBC leads Florida in the competition 10-6 thanks to a current four-year winning streak.
