This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
The following activity occurred from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025.
3:05 a.m. – Motorist assist Cumberland Crossing.
6:06 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: Horizon Health, Ace Hardware and Farmers Co-Op. All secure, no issues discovered.
7:46 a.m. – School Zone patrols.
10:00 a.m. – Officers at Aspire Center to conduct initial test for applicants for Police Officer Recruit position.
10:03 a.m. – Request to speak with officer regarding issues with boat mechanic, damage to boat. Civil matter. Suggested complainant contact private attorney.
11:17 a.m. – Request to speak with officer regarding harassment/trespassing by relatives. Advice given, again. Same issues as previous date.
3:47 p.m. – Motorist assist stop light #3.
5:28 p.m. – Assist WCEMS on Lincoln Avenue.
6:46 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
7:52 p.m. – Extra patrol at Mt. Pleasant Fellowship Church (serving as warming center).
7:56 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.

2:38 a.m. – Extra patrol Mt. Pleasant Fellowship Church (emergency warming center).
6:34 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: CTS, Family Dollar and Dos Amigos Mexican restaurant. All secure, no issues discovered.
6:52 a.m. – Request to speak with officer regarding theft of wallet.
1:13 p.m. – Criminal mischief complaint Parmley Street.
1:35 p.m. – Assisted WCSO on complaint of juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles.
1:45 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint on gray Honda car on KY 90 bypass. Caller reports vehicle traveling at high rate of speed. Officer met vehicle but lost sight of vehicle on West Columbia Ave.
3:17 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
4:32 p.m. – Request to speak with officer in Walmart parking lot. Caller returned to her vehicle from shopping and discovered two dents.
4:50 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint on unknown make/model “black car” KY 90 East, traveling toward Pulaski County.
5:31 p.m. – Extra patrol request Lockett Street.
6:02 p.m. – Traffic stop KY 1275 North.
6:54 p.m. – Request for officer in Cumberland Court for out-of-control juvenile female in dispute with mother.
10:26 p.m. – Foot patrol Walmart.
10:30 p.m. – Alarm activated at Dollar General Store on Damron Drive. Building secure.
11:28 p.m. – EMS request for officer at residence on Rolling Acres. Arrest made. Kody Valentine, 24, charged with Menacing, Criminal Trespassing, Public Intoxication, Terroristic Threatening and Disorderly Conduct.
