The Monticello City Council met Monday evening, where the four returning council members were sworn in to continue their duties.
The Council unanimously approved hiring Erynn Pyles as the new ABC officer for the city. Duties will begin on Thursday December 26th.
Monticello Mayor Kenny Catron cast the tie breaking vote in approval of using ABC money to fully fund the purchase of new computers for the Police cruisers. Council members Reagan and Hopper were in favor while members Vaughn, and Dishman opposed, questioning the ability of the city to use the ABC funds for that purpose.
