On December 19, 2024, the Wayne County Sheriff Office held their annual Shop With A Deputy Event at the Monticello Walmart. This event was held for 30 Wayne County underprivileged children to ensure they had an enjoyable Christmas. These children were so excited about their shopping experience with a Deputy and Walmart Associates. Every Deputy and Walmart Associates involved enjoyed watching each child that put probably a bigger smile on each one of their faces as was on the child they were helping.
