MPD RECENT ARRESTS
Israel Ellin Moreno, 43, was arrested Friday (Nov 8 at 11:27 a.m. in the parking lot of Citizens National Bank. Moreno was charged with Alcohol Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Littering. Major Josh Asberry and Officer Mike Neal made the arrest.
Gerald Kuhlman was arrested Friday (Nov 8 at 12:40 p.m. downtown following a complaint of him causing a disturbance. Kuhlman was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct. Major Josh Asberry and Officer Mike Neal made the arrest.
James Joseph Guffey, 53, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. Saturday (Nov 9) in the Cumberland Crossing shopping center. Guffey was taken into custody by Sgt. Josh Smith on a Wayne District Court warrant for non-payment of fines.
Sarah Smith, 25, and Leah Carrender, 58, were arrested Sunday (Nov 10) at 8:00 p.m. in the Walmart Plaza. Both were charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (shoplifting $500-$1,000). The arrests were made by Officer Casey Lang and WCSO Deputy Allen Cash.
All were processed and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
