At 1:39 PM Monticello Fire Department was dispatched by Monticello Wayne County 911 to a two-vehicle accident on N. Main St. On arrival cruise found a vehicle upside down with two occupants, trapped inside. Fire personnel worked to remove parts of the vehicle to allow access for Wayne County EMS personnel. Monticello Police Department conducted the accident investigation and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office assisted with scene control. Wayne County Rescue Squad assisted at the scene with traffic control for the duration of the incident. Thank you to all that were involved.
