#1. Firefighters responded to the area of Old Mill Springs for a reported structure fire. The fire was out on arrival and units overhauled and checked for extensions and removed hazards.
#2. Units responded to the area of HWY 2393 for a motorcycle accident.
#3. Units responded to w HWY 92 for a motor vehicle accident.
Saturday morning at 2:13 AM Monticello Fire Department and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of a vehicle collision with a cow on West Ky-92. Personnel responded and found that several cattle had escaped a field and were on or near the roadway. 1 vehicle had struck one of the cows and was damaged. No injuries were reported. Fire personnel assisted in removing debris from the roadway and getting the cattle back into the field.
