We share MPD’s activity report to help you have a better understanding of the number and types of calls our officers respond to daily. This serves as a quick overview of the previous date’s calls for service. It does not include every detail related to each incident or traffic stop.
1:33 a.m. – Traffic stop KY 90 East. Citation issued.
2:06 a.m. – Traffic stop KY 90 East. Verbal warning for moving violation.
3:52 a.m. – Extra patrol request for Cumberland Court.
6:43 a.m. – Business security checks, extra patrol overnight: Tobacco for Less, Walgreen’s and WMKZ. All secure, no issues discovered.
7:33 a.m. – School Zone patrols.
8:46 a.m. – Report of female “talking out of her head” on/near walking trail at MWC Memorial Park, near Rolling Acres neighborhood. Attempts to locate unsuccessful.
10:39 a.m. – Request for officer in Rolling Acres. Caller reports neighbor took his trash cans earlier this morning, she’s now back at his residence “cursing & yelling”. Female located by officer. Advised to leave her neighbors alone.
1:10 p.m. – Traffic stop on North Main Street at entrance to Payless Shell.
1:16 p.m. – Foot patrol Bell Elementary.
2:21 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Kentucky Avenue regarding dispute relatives.
2:46 p.m. – Request to speak with officer at MPD regarding “dog bite” while caller and another person were walking their dogs and met on Dugan Street.
2:51 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Lockett Street regarding damage to caller’s residence while he was hospitalized.
6:27 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Homestead Lane regarding theft (fraudulent use of debit card).
7:03 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Victory Drive regarding residency issues and personal property dispute.
7:09 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Rolling Acres regarding threats made by neighbor.
8:32 p.m. – Request to speak with officer on Jenkins Street. Caller reports male was standing at her mom’s door blowing kisses at her. Incident occurred several hours prior to calling 911. Description of male provided.
9:30 p.m. – Traffic stop KY 90 West. Driver checked okay.
10:40 p.m. – Wellbeing check requested for female on Kentucky Avenue involved in incident earlier this date. Officer talked with female, she’s okay.
11:26 p.m. – Complaint of small gray car driving through Elm Street multiple times at various speeds. Vehicle was located and stopped. Driver checked okay. Delivery driver having difficulty finding address for delivery.
11:41 p.m. – Alarm activated at Adanta Clinical Services on South Main Street. Building and premises appeared secure, no issues discovered.
