MPD RECENT ARRESTS
Tony Rhodes, 64, of Monticello, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Friday (Sep 20) on Worsham Lane by Officer Brandon Bertram. Rhodes was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Sherry Simmons, 58, of Monticello, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Friday (Sep 20) on Worsham Lane by Officer Brandon Bertram. Simmons was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Tori Stinson, 26, of Somerset, was arrested at 12:56 p.m. Sunday (Sep 22) at the Wayne County Hospital by Major Josh Asberry. Stinson was served with a warrant for failure to appear in Wayne District Court.
Darrell Daniels, Jr., 37, of Monticello, was arrested at 3:34 p.m. Sunday (Sep 22) at the Wayne County Detention Center by Major Josh Asberry. Daniels turned himself in and was served with a Wayne District Court warrant for Assault 4th Degree.
Rhodes, Simmons, Stinson and Daniels were processed and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
Michael Hicks, 42, of Albany, was arrested Thursday, September 19 at 8:22 p.m. during a traffic stop on West Columbia Avenue.
Sgt. Josh Smith charged Hicks with Driving on a DUI Suspended License, Possession of Marijuana, No Registration Plates and Failure to Maintain Insurance.
Kelly Thigpen, 49, of Louisville, was arrested Friday, September 20 at 4:30 p.m. at Walmart. Sgt. Josh Smith charged Thigpen with Theft by Unlawful Taking (shoplifting) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Shawn Hill, 38, of Monticello, was arrested Friday, September 20 at 5:40 p.m. on Frisby Street in connection with an assault that occurred earlier on West Columbia Avenue. Officer Brandon Bertram charged Hill with Assault 4th Degree (domestic violence).
Christopher Jordan Thompson, 30, of Russell Springs, was arrested Saturday, September 21 at 3:24 a.m. on Conn Street. Officer Jeramy Thompson charged Jordan Thompson with DUI, No Operators License, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest.
Hicks, Thigpen, Hill and Thompson were processed and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
