Phone Scam Alert issued by MBC

Please be aware that another round of fraudulent text messages was presented by Monticello Bank. Never click a link within a text message claiming to be from Monticello Bank. The text messages sent out by our Fraud Department regarding debit card and credit card transactions will only ask you to reply with a specific letter to validate the transaction in question or to label it as fraud. We will not ask you to provide confidential information, text codes, or login credentials to us during an interaction we initiate. If you receive any questionable text messages regarding your MBC accounts, contact your local branch immediately to verify the authenticity of the text message.
