Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron reports the following arrest.
Derek Barnhouse of Monticello, KY. was arrested on 3 Wayne County Circuit Court Warrants of Arrest for Probation Violations on the underlying charges of 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance-1st degree (methamphetamine), 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in a controlled substance-1st degree (greater than or equal to 2 grams of methamphetamine) and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office also served Kimberly Hill of Monticello, KY. with a Wayne County District Court Criminal Complaint Summons for the charges of possession of a controlled substance-3rd degree (drug unspecified) and prescription of a controlled substance not in a proper container.
Barnhouse was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. Hill was given a court date to appear.
