(WKYT) – A bicyclist was sent to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Somerset on Monday.
The Somerset Fire Department said it was dispatched to the 1700 block of Patterson Branch Road and found the injured bicyclist.
Emergency crews transported the bicyclist to the hospital. The bicyclist’s condition was not released.
The crash is under investigation by the Somerset Police Department.
The fire department advised riders to use caution on the road in limited-light conditions. It also recommended that they wear a helmet and high-visibility clothing and use headlights and taillights.
