Hot conditions are expected to persist through the remainder of the week, with max heat index values of 100° to 105° for many locations each afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect where the heat is expected to be most widespread with poorer overnight recovery in temperatures. Even healthy individuals without adequate hydration or cooling will be susceptible to heat stress and/or illness.
